At Faber Park, we transformed part of a landed property’s basement carpark into a stylish and functional leisure lounge. Designed as a multi-purpose space, it now serves as a place for relaxation, entertainment, and fitness. At the heart of the lounge is an open-concept kitchen, seamlessly integrated into the layout to create a welcoming environment for social gatherings. The kitchen’s sleek design complements the overall aesthetic, making it a natural focal point of the space.
Description
For this project, we designed a modern hair studio that blends minimalist aesthetics with industrial charm. The space was crafted to be both functional and visually striking, offering a contemporary setting for hairstyling services.
The open layout enhances natural light, with tall arched windows serving as a focal point, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere. Exposed ceilings with visible piping and linear LED lighting reinforce the industrial style while maintaining a clean, modern feel. Polished concrete flooring adds durability and complements the studio’s raw yet refined aesthetic.
To balance the industrial elements, we introduced warm-toned furniture, including sleek wooden workstations and leather-upholstered chairs, adding a touch of comfort and sophistication. The wash area, subtly elevated on a tiled platform, seamlessly integrates into the overall design while maintaining functionality.
By combining raw textures with thoughtful details, this renovation delivers a contemporary yet welcoming environment, perfectly suited for a creative and professional hairstyling experience.
